Additionally, I am a Level II-trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist who incorporates other models of therapy such as Mindfulness and Family Systems. Internal Family Systems is a compassion-based model that emphasizes empathy, connection, healing, and wellness.
According to IFS theory, a host of “parts” reside within each of us. Our parts unwittingly impact our present life because each part is loaded down with a burden. Discovering your parts and relieving their burdens is the path to the healing and freedom you seek. Again and again, my clients experience healing and positive transformation as a result of this therapeutic model.
